Go There begins on the 30x40 mile island Rudinoff was raised on. Restless from the beginning, she begins to live out her days in search of a life that feels big, important and real. She flocks to acting teachers in London, encounters megawatt celebrities and art house heroes in Los Angeles, and finally comes to a giant halt at a personal and very real Ground Zero in New York City. Follow the strange longing for Hollywood and celebrity, the promises of the Big Apple, and land in the psyche of a woman trying to find out where she should finally go, and who she should pretend to be when she gets there. Backed by her rocking two-piece band, Rudinoff spins her tale with monologue and music.

“I imagine my film career will be full of loud mouth cops, fat hookers, and commercials where I’ll be acting tough toward really thick paper towels.”

Reviews

“Sarah Rudinoff is so talented it’s goddamn ridiculous. What others do horribly wrong, Sarah does sublimely right. Where lesser actors cover lack of ability with theatrical gimmicks and emotionally manipulative tricks, Sarah blazes with fierce, funny honesty and grace. She’s a pageant of moxie, a carnival of fabulous, and her one-person show is just about the best one-person show I’ve seen this side of ever.”

Adrian Ryan, The Stranger

Entertainment requires showmanship, and showmanship is Rudinoff’s biggest asset she simply can’t open her mouth without spewing razzle-dazzle all over the stage. A showcase for Rudinoff’s fearsome talent, Go There justifies the commanding tone in its title. So, really, just go.”
